Growing up in the small town of Malanda on the Atherton Tablelands, Far North Queensland, Jacynta’lee was introduced to the world of music by her vocal coach Mum, Karren, who holds over three decades of experience studying the vocal instrument.
As a child, walking alongside her vocal guide, Jacynta’lee joined a local country music club on the Atherton Tablelands, which provided monthly opportunities to work on her live performance and to entertain her homeland community.
Jacynta’lee began establishing herself as an Australian Recording Artist in 2021, following the release of her debut single ‘Dream’. April of 2022 saw the release of an anticipated second single from the songstress – a lively and comical ‘Relationship Status’. Fun Fact: Mr. Jacynta’lee appears in the ‘Relationship Status’ official music video, acting her dead-beat partner!
With six live pre-release performances of the singer-songwriters’ 2023 single – ‘Take My Hand’ under her belt at the 2023 Tamworth Country Music Festival, Jacynta’lee’s third single resonated with crowds of hundreds where her live performance feedback was positively astounding.
Following Jacynta’s exceptional impression on the 2023 Tamworth Country Music Festival crowds and amid Jacynta’s 2023 single release, the concept for ‘Get Me Some’ was born, during an evening celebration of both events.
As an active member of the blue-collar community herself, Jacynta’lee pinned a concept for ‘Get Me Some’ that drew from her personal favourite genres – Country, Country Blues and Country Rock. Written to both reflect on, and appreciate the authentic relief of a well-earned break, ‘Get Me Some’ blends the celebration of the final clock-out with a sprinkle of rebellious edge.
