Sydney singer-songwriter and guitarist Tim Conlon has had a remarkable year. Featuring on The Voice Australia on Team Delta, where he left the show at Top 10, gave Tim national exposure and a dedicated fan base. Finally he can now reap the rewards and release his own original music. Released on the 21st August, Tim’s new single ‘Home’, showcases his distinctively chilled vocals and is the third single off his upcoming self-titled EP. The single is currently sitting strong on the iTunes singer-songwriter charts at #4.
“First of all, thank you for finding your way to this song. To my new followers and to those who have been supporting me from the beginning, I am so excited to share this new song and chapter with you. Home is a song I wrote about the euphoria and excitement that precedes a new relationship. Home is all about the ecstasy of the present and a disregard for the logistical realities of a relationship. It’s about being in the moment which you know won’t last but you cling onto it anyway. That’s what the lyrics mean to me, but I hope that the song will resonate with you and speak to your experience.”
‘Home’ follows Tim’s two previous tracks ‘Temporary Love’ and ‘Drunk’ which were released earlier this year before his time on The Voice.
Tim can be found gigging around Sydney most weekends while continuing to write and record his EP due for release later this year. Expect to hear more from Tim Conlon very soon! His star is just starting to shine!
