Mitch King has launched into 2017 with a bang releasing a brand new EP ‘Southerly Change’ and hitting the road for a run of shows to support the release. The EP, which was released on 4th January, debuted on the iTunes Blues Charts at #2 on it’s first day.

Mitch’s run of January shows commenced in Brisbane and ended at Tamworth Country Music Festival where he was exceptionally well received for the second year running. Mitch performed at the opening concert on the main stage and continued busking throughout the festival. Following Tamworth, Mitch will continue his ‘Southerly Change Tour’ throughout February (dates and venues below) and will see him perform at festivals such as St Kilda Festival (where he was crowned Hottest New Act in 2016) Whittlesea Music Festival and the Great Australian Beer Festival.

In addition, Mitch’s two releases are sitting at #2 (Southerly Change) and #3 (A Life Under the Sun) on the Australian Blues iTunes charts.
