Will Day returns with his first release in 2022 and it’s set to fire up the airwaves! “Bro’s”, a vocal collaboration between good friends Will Day, Troy Kemp and Col Finley tells the story of having good times with mates and sticking together no matter what. Co-written by Day and Finley, it’s guitar driven country rock at its finest.
“It was wonderful to work with my good mates Col Finley (co-writer) and Troy Kemp on this track. As well as being a really fun and rockin’ song, it’s a result of true mate ship. I love how country music brings us together like this”
“Bro’s” is the fifth single from Will’s debut album ‘Countrified’. Released in July 2021, the album includes a perfect combination of Will’s trademark up-tempo, high energy country rock tracks, as well as emotive and heartfelt ballads.
With constant chart success in 2021, the addition of music video’s to CMT Australia and official high rotation adds on major stations including KIX Country, iHeartCountry and ABC Country, Will’s profile continues to soar. Combining radio success with regular touring and performances at major events such as Groundwater Country Music Festival, Savannah in the Round, Gympie Music Muster, Winton’s Outback Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, and high-profile events such as Round Up at CMC Rocks in Rockhampton have ensured rave reviews for live performances.
Past releases from the highly successful ‘Countrified’ album have included the foot stomping ‘Countrified’ (#12 on the KIX Hottest 20) to the break-up ballad ‘Simple Then’ with fellow country artist Brooke Schubert (#9 KIX Hottest 20 and #5 on the major Countrytown Hottest 50 Chart) to radio friendly track ‘Won’t Break Me’.
With a strong passion for touring and always delivering a high energy show has ensured Will is a constant crowd favourite. Touring will be a strong focus in 2022 with Will performing shows around the country, including Curdimurka Outback Ball at South Australia’s Clayton Station on the Birdsville track alongside fellow country artists Adam Brand, Troy Casser-Daley, Viper Creek Band and Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont and more. Will is returning to South Australia in June to perform at five shows on the iconic 500 Miles of Music Tour, reaching regional and outback towns and features some of Australia’s finest country artists including The Wolfe Brothers, Travis Collins, Adam Harvey, Gina Jefferies, Amber Lawrence, Bill Chambers, Mel Dyer, Caitlyn Shadbolt and Taylor Moss.
