Casey Barnes took out the Country Award for his single ‘Flesh and Bone’ at the NCEIA Dolphin Music Awards last night. Casey also performed the song to a sellout audience. The biggest night in the local music and entertainment industry certainly lived up to expectations as the most coveted event from the North Coast Entertainment Industry Association.
This year’s judges included Kirk Pengilly (INXS), Paul Pilsneniks (Studios 301), Mark Gable (Choirboys) Alex Smith (Moving Pictures) and Marcus Schintler (Weddings Parties Anything)
It has been a stellar year for Casey as ‘Flesh and Bone’ which was co-written with Rick Price in Nashville, continues to receive recognition around the world. ‘Flesh and Bone’ also reached the finals of the prestigious ‘International Songwriting Competition’ and ‘Unsigned Only’ in the US.
