Casey Barnes has been announced to perform at one of the premier U.S Music Festivals ‘Country Summer’ in June, alongside major US Country Artists such as Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Kip Moore, Billy Currington and many others in Santa Rosa, California. Casey was one of 10 finalists selected by a judging panel and the only Australian act in the Fender Contender Challenge, which was decided by a public vote. The winner has the opportunity to fly to California and play main stage.
This festival, which is located just north of San Francisco in Sonoma County attracts over 17,000 music fans from across the nation annually. Casey will be performing on Friday 3rd June.

This past weekend saw Casey perform main stage at Urban Country Music Festival in Caboolture, Queensland and will also be performing at the Broadbeach Country Music Festival on June 18th and 19th after his return from the States.
Earlier this year, Casey was in Nashville finishing his new album which is set for release in the coming months at the legendary Sound Emporium Studios. In what is shaping up to be some of his best recordings yet, Casey is looking forward to performing them live for the first time at Country Summer!
