The annual Channel Seven Perth Telethon was a massive success this year in it’s 50th Anniversary raising a record breaking $36.4 million for Princess Margaret Hospital. Little Sparrow PR has held a long association with Telethon and this year Casey Barnes, Liam Burrows and Natalie Pearson all returned to lend a hand at the televised 26 hour event.

Held over the weekend of 21st and 22nd October, the event is the highest fundraising Telethon (per capita) in the world and attracts high profile Channel 7 personalities, sporting identities and some of Australia’s elite recording artists. Along with our three artists, this years entertainment included Leo Sayer, Daryl Braithwaite, Pete Murray, Samantha Jade, Pseudo Echo, Dami Im, Normie Rowe and Ray Burgess.

Through the generosity of the Western Australian public, funds raised will make a major impact on some of the life threatening diseases that face children including brain cancer and leukaemia. Monies raised also provides equipment for children in hospital, critical services for children with disabilities and life-changing opportunities for disadvantaged children. A wonderful achievement by all involved.
