Whistle Dixie release new single "Too Damn Cute For A Ticket". A true tale of charm, cheek and classic country swagger

Whistle Dixie, the high-energy torchbearers of modern Honky Tonk and Western Swing, are thrilled to announce the release of their brand-new single “Too Damn Cute For a Ticket.” Inspired by a true story of charm outsmarting consequence, the track is a cheeky, toe-tappin’ anthem about a gal who used her looks and wit to sweet talk her way out of a ticket.

Packed with sass, twang, and that unmistakable Whistle Dixie spirit, “Too Damn Cute For a Ticket” is a perfect example of the band’s ability to blend traditional Country roots with modern storytelling flair. From Bob Wills to Buck Owens, and June Carter to Dolly Parton, Whistle Dixie draw from the greats while blazing their own trail across today’s thriving Country music landscape.

With a growing reputation for unforgettable live performances, Whistle Dixie have carved out their place on stages from The Gympie Music Muster, Tamworth Country Music Festival, and Groundwater Country Music Festival to Deni Ute Muster, Crank It Up, and Smoke in Broke. They’ve shared bills with icons like The Whitlams, Diesel, Troy Cassar-Daley, Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon), Russell Morris, The Black Sorrows, and have toured nationally alongside U.S. Rockabilly sensation Hot Rod Walt.

Their loyal fanbase continues to grow thanks to their authenticity, infectious enthusiasm, and dedication to real-deal Country music. The second half of 2025 will see the band hitting the road again with a series of East Coast promotional shows, followed by their first-ever international tour of the United States and an exciting national tour in 2026.
