Jacynta'lee announces lead single "Pushing My Luck" off upcoming That's Alright: The EP

Rising Australian country-pop artist Jacynta’lee is baring her heart with the release of “Pushing My Luck”, the lead single from her highly anticipated upcoming project, That’s Alright: The EP, due out October 17. Co-written with acclaimed songwriters Michael Delorenzis and Michael Paynter, “Pushing My Luck” is a shimmering, emotionally charged love song – and marks a powerful first for the artist.

“This is the first love song I’ve ever written — and in turn, released,” says Jacynta’lee. “I’ve always kept these deeper, more vulnerable feelings close to my chest. As someone who’s always been the upbeat, happy-go-lucky, carefree type, releasing ‘Pushing My Luck’ reveals a vulnerable side of me — one I haven’t shared with listeners before.”

Built on warm melodies and heartfelt lyrics, the track explores the magical, almost-too-good-to-be-true feeling of falling in love — the gratitude, the nerves, and the realization that sometimes, being “lucky in love” is very real.

“There are moments in love where it feels almost too good to be true. That hint of fear, and the gratitude behind it, is what inspired this song,” Jacynta’lee explains. “It takes you through the journey of falling head-over-heels and realising you might just be the luckiest person in the world to love — and to be loved — like that.”

“Pushing My Luck” offers a glimpse into That’s Alright: The EP, a five-track collection that Jacynta’lee describes as her most personal and versatile body of work yet.

“I’m honoured and so excited to be sharing my very first EP with the world,” she shares. “That’s Alright: The EP feels like a five-track snapshot of my growth — not just in sound, but in who I am as a songwriter, a vocalist, and an artist.”

Following the success of previous singles “Get Me Some” and “That’s Alright”, which earned multiple playlist spots on both Spotify and Apple Music, Jacynta’lee is ready to step into the next phase of her musical journey.

“There’s a natural energy in me that is heavily drawn to joy, connection, and creating moments people can let loose in,” she adds. “This EP showcases my authentic personal energy while also making space for the heart and vulnerability that fuels it. This five-track catalogue leans into everything I love about Country music – sass, edge and unapologetic fun, with a slice of vulnerability.”

To celebrate the EP’s release, Jacynta’lee will be heading out on tour, bringing her energetic live show and heartfelt storytelling to audiences in Queensland and Tamworth Country Music Festival in January 2026.

Jacynta’lee’s new single “Pushing My Luck” is out to radio on Monday 8th September and digital streaming services on Friday 12th September. That’s Alright – the EP will be out on streaming services on 17th October.
